Legal Audit and Compliance

Statutory auditing involves analyzing the reliability of financial statements, as well as verifying and certifying compliance with accounting regulations and national and international accounting standards, culminating in the expression of an independent professional opinion on the company's financial statements.

An audit is a verification and control activity used to assess the internal control procedures adopted by company management to achieve its objectives and ensure that business operations are conducted legally. In this context, TLF verifies that these procedures comply with the law.

To do this, the auditor first initiates a process of familiarizing themselves with the company and its operating environment, analyzing all aspects of internal control relevant to the audit—particularly regarding the accuracy of financial reporting.

The auditor examines and inspects all documents provided by the company, requesting explanations or additional information, and—based on the materials submitted—reports on and certifies their assessment.

The auditor—an expert in administrative, regulatory, and accounting verification and control—also verifies the accuracy of accounts and accounting records and compliance with regulations, while identifying and assessing the risk of material misstatements in the financial statements.

The detailed final report will contain observations and an opinion on the financial statements and the consolidated financial statements.
